Day 133… Today is a biiig day out! At breakfast i met the amazing and lovely tour guide Ieva who – after hearing my plans – gallantly offered to help me out by chucking my laundry in to wash while i was out… fantastic stuff! With that sorted, my first stop is the Louvre… so happy to be back here… I truly love art and art galleries. This Louvre thing though is just toooo big! After seei g about 1/4 of it in 3 hours, had to charge my phone/camera and rever to my actual camera… which is also running out of memory and power. So… change plans. I head over to Notre Dame and see the huuuge queues for it, and take a few photos before heading over to the Conciergerie, which is a fairly lacklustre ex-church… tho it did have the gaol cell of Marie Antoinette. Right next to it however is the MIND BUBBLINGLY BEAUTIFUL church, the Sainte-Chapelle. Let me say this has to be one of THE MOST INCREDIBLE MAN MADE STRUCTURES I have seen SO FAR. It stopped me dead and sitting staring at the gorgeous stained glass massive windows for 45 mins… jaw dropping lovely. After I peeled my eyes away, I jumped on to the big bus tour in full before heading to my cruise on the Sienna River… which was a bit of a let down I must say. Tho I did get to see most of Paris’ 22 bridges.
