Day 69

Day 69 San Antonio
Drive with the truckers along Highway 10 to San Antonio where my new phone freezes and dies. Annoyed. So on to San Antonio… a little piece of Mexico in the US, San Antonio is the home of the Alamo, an original reconstructed Spanish-Mexican fort from the 18th century and about as exciting as a septuagenarian bingo night. The church in ruins still being used as a church that we stopped at before was way more interesting. I stroll along the famous River Walk and get to know the city’s many canals and backstreets and check out yet another Ripleys Museum before heading back to the winner of camp site of the year and the pool for nearly 2 hours.
