Day 19, pt 1: After breakfast I get to visit the most famous landmarks of one of the most famous cities and see the natural beauty of Rio deJaneiro from up above. So 1st stop is up the cable car to the world famous Sugar Loaf Mountain, which has become an iconic symbol of the city of Rio de Janeiro. Rising up from a small peninsula at the entrance of GuanabaraBay, its name is said to refer to its resemblance to the traditional shape of a concentrated, refined sugar loaf from colonial times. That pyramid thing is a HUUUGE church. .. the big stain glass are inside… they are size of skyscrapers!
